The Parlay Kid

Five straight wins including three straight hockey wins (+116, +125, +120). Coming off their first loss of the season the Ducks have had two weeks to prepare for the California Bears and will be ready to go. The Ducks are 4-1 and have a win over Ohio State and the Bears are 1-4 and their lone win is against Sacramento St. -13.5 at home should not be a problem for the Ducks to cover.

Harry

Astros starter Framber Valdez was 2-0 against Boston this season with 18 K's on just 2 earned runs allowed. Boston's Chris Sale got roughed up in his one start versus Tampa Bay in the first round of the playoffs and gave up 5 earned runs in just one inning. Houston is 4-1 in their last five opening series games.

Clemson has struggled all season long and has not covered the spread in any game. This should be a defensive battle, as Clemson hasn’t figured out things offensively yet. I think behind their crowd, Cuse comes out early and plays well. But I’m more comfortable taking the first half, as they may wear down after a short week. Cuse +7.5 1st Half!

Three in a row and one for one in NHL picks. This is certainly a roll of the dice, but the Sabres have a habit of starting the year semi-strong before quickly fading. Opening night, home Buffalo crowd. Let’s ride!

Harry

I’m expecting plenty of points for Thursday night football considering the Eagles have given up 40+ points in two of their last three games. Tom Brady and the rest of the Buccaneers games have landed 58 points in four of their five contests this season. Jalen Hurts has been able to put up solid numbers this season (had almost 400 yards passing versus KC two weeks ago and has accounted for at least 2 TD’s in four of the Eagles games) and I expect him to do so again against a depleted Tampa Bay secondary.

Harry

Schwartzman’s lifetime record against Ruud is 4-2 and is still a top 15 player in the world. I’ll take 3.5 games in a match that should probably go 3 sets.

The Sky continue to be undervalued this postseason. They are 6-1 ATS so far in these playoffs heading into game 2. They have a ton of talent on this team and Kahleah Copper is having a breakout postseason. Sophie Cunningham being back from an injury will help the Mercury, but I still think this comes down to the last few possessions. Give me the points. If you hold out a little you may be able to get this at +4.
