Oklahoma City Thunder +4.5
-110
Without Zion, there is nothing to like about this Pelicans team. They have lost 7 straight and have barely been competitive in any of them. The Thunder have won their last two and 3 out of 5. They are extremely young, but they play hard defensively every night. It’s possible the wrong team is favored in this one. Give me Thunder +4.5!

Miami Heat to Win
-158
The Heat lead the league in rebounds and are first in points allowed in the Eastern Conference. The Lakers are still without L. James and since he's been out, point guard Russell Westbrook has had shooting issues. In the three games without James, Westbrook is just 16 of 51 from the field. The Heat have one of the best offenses in the league and give up less than 10 points a game than the Lakers do,

Chicago Bulls -3
-110
The Bulls came up big for me against the Nets the other night and now the 7-3 Dallas Mavericks come rolling into town. The Mavericks are 0-3 ATS as underdogs and the Bulls have more depth than them. Expect Chicago to out-physical the Mavs and wear them down as they pull away late.

Utah Jazz -7.5
-110
The Hawks are a mess right now and it’s similar to last year when they started off bad. They are now 0-7 ATS on the road and they are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 overall. The Jazz lost 2 straight on the road and should be ready to take care of the Hawks at home. The Hawks are on no rest and it’s going to be tough to keep up.

Boston Bruins -1.5
-110
Ottawa is just 1-3 on the road this season and has lost 4 contests in a row (& 7 of their last 8). The Bruins defensively have given up the least goals in the Atlantic division, meanwhile, the Sens have yielded the 3rd most goals in the Eastern Conference.

Dayton Flyers -15.5
-104
UD Arena (the most underrated arena/ fan base in the country) will be fired up after waiting about 20 months to see their beloved Flyers play. The size and length of Dayton will be too much for Illinois-Chicago and true Freshman DaRon Holmes will shine in his debut.

Chicago Bulls -1.5
-110
The Brooklyn Nets roll into Chicago after a late afternoon Sunday victory in which star players Kevin Durant and James Harden logged minutes in the upper thirties. That is exactly why I am jumping on the Bulls who were sitting at 6-1 before back-to-back losses. The Bulls want to have a statement victory and the Nets would be a good place to start.

Golden State Warriors -3.5
-110
The Hawks have had a tough schedule to start the season, but they are a little out of sorts at the moment. They are 0-6 ATS on the road to open the season and they have lost 5 of their last 6. The Warriors won on Sunday, and they were able to limit the number of minutes of their starters. The Warriors are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4. I’m backing the Warriors until the Hawks turn it around.

Phoenix Suns to Win
-138
After a slow start to the season, the Phoenix Suns have ripped off four straight wins. Devin Booker is a major reason whyPhoenix has been hot and has led the Suns in scoring in five of the last six games. Phoenix also will hope to avenge their last loss which just so happens to have come by way of the Sacramento Kings on October 27th.
