Northwestern -3.5
+102
Northwestern was 4-0 at home last season and after a year of shaking off the rust, Wildcats quarterback Hunter Johnson should be much better prepared. But Northwestern is not about throwing the ball, they are about the run game and defense. Michigan St. will have a tough time putting up points without an established QB and Northwestern will win by a comfortable margin.

I debated taking Northwestern here, but I need to see them play a few games first since they only return a few starters on offense and defense. One thing we know for sure is Pat Fitzgerald will rely on his run game and defense. Both teams won’t be good enough to put up a lot of points. Expect the clock to keep running in this one. U45.5!

Aryna Sabalenka to Win
-225
Sabalenka is seeded #2 in the US Open and is ranked second in the world. She also has recorded a second-place finish in July at Wimbledon. Collins is the 29th ranked woman in the world and is seeded 26th in this tournament. Collins has a bright future but will see her run at the open end on Friday.

This should be a fun watch from the “Bounce House” in Orlando on Thursday. UCF QB Dillon Gabriel tossed 32 TD passes last season and in the Bronco's last trip to Florida they upset Florida St and hung 36 on the ‘Noles.

2-TEAM MLB PARLAY: TORONTO BLUE JAYS -1.5, DETROIT TIGERS TO WIN
+241
Robbie Ray is on the mound for the Jays and he has given up two runs or less in nine out of his last ten starts. The Jays offense has been surprisingly anemic as of late, scoring three runs or less in 9 out of their last ten games. Seeing the Orioles will help their bats awaken from their slumber. Casey Mize of the Tigers has burned me enough this year so let's go with him, rather than against.

DETROIT TIGERS TO WIN

I’ve had a good run over the last month. Need to keep it going. I don’t get the Twins being the favorite in this game. Detroit has won the last 4 at home against the Twins, and the Twins have struggled all year on the road. The Twins are traveling to Detroit for an early afternoon game, and I can’t imagine they’ll be too motivated for this one. Give me Detroit +106!

PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES/WASHINGTON NATIONALS OVER 9.5
-105
Both starters (Corbin and Moore) have been horrendous this season with ERA’s over 6.00. The Phillies have scored seven or more in five straight and the over has hit five straight when these teams play each other. Let’s not overthink this and take the over.

FABIO FOGNINI (US OPEN) TO WIN
-156
You have to lay a bit of a price with the veteran Fognini who has a winning record in 8 of his last 9 seasons. Meanwhile, Pospisil has zero titles to his name at 31 years old and is just 5-10 record-wise this year.

L.A. DODGERS/ATLANTA BRAVES UNDER 8.5
-128
I’m tempting fate again with these unders. Only 2 of the last 13 Dodgers games have gone over 8.5 runs. Their pitching has been phenomenal and they get Buehler on the mound tonight. He’s only given up 8 earned runs in his last 60 2/3 innings. Morton has been better on the road this year and has only given up 9 earned runs in his last 6 road starts. Take the U8.5!
