Diego Schwartzman +3.5 Games
Schwartzman’s lifetime record against Ruud is 4-2 and is still a top 15 player in the world. I’ll take 3.5 games in a match that should probably go 3 sets.
Chicago Sky +3.5
The Sky continue to be undervalued this postseason. They are 6-1 ATS so far in these playoffs heading into game 2. They have a ton of talent on this team and Kahleah Copper is having a breakout postseason. Sophie Cunningham being back from an injury will help the Mercury, but I still think this comes down to the last few possessions. Give me the points. If you hold out a little you may be able to get this at +4.
The Parlay Kid
Buffalo Sabres to Win
Three in a row and one for one in NHL picks. This is certainly a roll of the dice, but the Sabres have a habit of starting the year semi-strong before quickly fading. Opening night, home Buffalo crowd. Let’s ride!
The Parlay Kid
Victor Hedman 3+ Shots on Goal
At 2+ shots Hedman is -420 so going to roll the dice on one extra shot on goal at +115. Hedman averaged about 2.5 shots on goal per game last season and will be extra fired up in game one. Great to have hockey back and can’t resist a little action on it.
Appalachian State/Louisiana-Lafayette Over 57.5
The Appalachian St Mountaineers have scored in the 30’s in 4 of their 5 games (includes a season-high 46 ten days ago against Georgia St. the Rajun Cajuns offense has been clicking, averaging 31 points a game over their last four contests.
Vegas Golden Knights/Seattle Kraken Under 5.5
I can’t believe the hockey season starts already. I’m never going to be able to catch up on any shows. To be successful in their first season, the Kraken will have to play a very defensive game. They’ll struggle offensively, at least early in the season. The Knights gave up the fewest goals in the NHL last season. Knights win 3-1.
Atlanta Braves to Win
I originally thought the Brewers were going to win this series in 4 games, but now they find themselves in a tough spot going into game 3 in Atlanta. The Milwaukee bats have been pretty cold over the last month. Now they see Anderson who was dynamite in the playoffs last year. I trust the Atlanta offense a little more at the moment. Braves -112!
The Parlay Kid
Jonathan Taylor Longest Rush Over 9.5 Yards
Taylor has gone over the 9.5 longest rush in every game this season and averages about 15 carries a game which should be enough chances to get this done. Let’s get this one out of the way early in the game.
Indianapolis Colts +7
Carson Wentz looked decent last week after tripping up the Dolphins in South Beach. I’m not sold on the Ravens considering they gave up over 400 yards passing in their opener against the Raiders, gave up 35 points in their second game, and really should have lost to Detroit. Indianapolis continues to get better each week and on Monday night they will be competitive and hang within the 7 points.
