Lavonte David Over 6.5 Tackles + Assists
We made it. The NFL season is upon us. I don’t have to wager on baseball tonight. I will, but I don’t have to. Lavonte David is consistently around the ball and normally ranks in the top 10 in the NFL in tackles. He went over this number in 14 out of his 20 starts last year and will keep on doing his thing. Let’s start this NFL season off on the right track!
Tom Brady Under 300.5 Passing Yards
Football is back! Brady’s number is a little inflated here. The Cowboys were one of the worst defenses against the run last year, and they’ll see a good dose of Jones and Fournette. I envision the Buccaneers will be in front for most of this game and Brady won’t be needed to throw all game.
Ronald Jones 1st Carry Over 3.5 Yards
If we are going to do this, let us do it early so we can enjoy the game with an early "W". Jones is going to rip through that soft Dallas front five for an explosive 6 yards on his first carry. Mark it down, not 3, not 4, not 5, but 6 yards (I'm sure LeBron will be watching it happen as well.)
Oakland Athletics to Win
I’m going to roll with the A’s Frankie Montas and his 11 wins against the White Sox Dallas Keuchel. Keuchel has been atrocious of late from Chicago as he’s given up 16 earned runs in his last 9 innings and his ERA is now over 5.

Philadelphia Phillies to Win
The Phillies are 4-1 against the Milwaukee Brewers this season and tonight features a good pitching matchup between Kyle Gibson and Freddy Peralta. Both pitchers have cooled down as of late and Peralta has struggled to reach the third inning in his last two starts. The +148 is too good to pass up with a solid pitcher like Gibson on the mound. Take the Phillies!
Toronto Blue Jays to Win
This Yankees season has definitely been frustrating. So many ups and downs. But right now the Yankees just can’t hit. They have 1 extra base hit in their last 21 innings. Gil has pitched really well in 3 starts for the Yanks, but it may be too much pressure for the youngster against this great lineup. The Yankees will eventually go on a little run soon, but right now the Blue Jays are hot and the Yankees are just not playing well. Blue Jays +108!
New York Yankees/Toronto Blue Jays Under 9
What an awful Labor Day weekend. Three betaches in a row for me after the Mets blow a lead in the bottom of the 9th. Cole has pitched against the Blue Jays three times this season and no game has had more than 5 runs. Cole has only given up 2 earned runs in his last 24 2/3 innings. Matz has only given up 6 earned runs in his last 32 2/3 innings. Under 9 is the play!
2-Team Parlay: N.Y. Yankees, S.F. Giants to Win
The Yankees have been brutal lately, dropping 7 of their last 9 games, but G. Cole (14-6, 2.73 ERA) is on the bump and will stop the bleeding for New York against the Blue Jays. The Giants this season have done a number on the Rockies, beating them in 10 out of 14 contests. Logan Webb's ERA is a sensational 2.56, meanwhile, Chi Chi Gonzalez possesses an ERA of over 6. San Francisco put up 10 runs and had 15 hits on Monday so against Gonzalez there should be no reason why they can't put up similar numbers.

Atlanta Braves -1.5
After an excellent stretch of baseball, the Braves are 4-8 in their last 12. They return home after a lengthy road trip and enjoyed a day off yesterday while their opponent, the Washington Nationals, played and had to travel to Atlanta. Max Fried is on the mound for the Braves and he has shaved 1.20 runs off his ERA over the last month. A rejuvenated Braves team clobbers the Nats behind Fried in an easy one.
